Donation- Gajevy

He trip…with a very sudden, non-manly shriek. The guild laughed at the spectacle.

“What the hell Mirajane!” Gajeel growled as he sat up and rubbed his head. “Why are there so many fucking books!?” There were endless piles of various heights on the floor. Some were thin or thick, old or new, and ranged from topic to topic.

Mira giggled as she rested her upper body on the bar. “Gajeel, you should really watch where you’re going. You could have had a bad accident.”

“Then why the hell are there so many books?” He asked again—this time standing up and dusting himself off.

“There for the guild library. Someone donated them.” Mira answered.

“Who the fuck has this many books?” Gajeel snarled since things weren’t really adding up for him.

The answer came in with a large stack of books in each arm. It was clad in an orange crop top and tight green shorts—probably due to the hot weather going on in Magnolia. It dropped off more books.

“Of course, the guild bookworm would be behind the operation.” Gajeel snickered. Damn she looks cute.

Levy rolled her eyes and ignored the dragon slayer. “Anyway Mirajane, I only have a few books left. Then I can move them to the library.”

Mira waved her hand. “Oh don’t worry about it.” She then grabbed Natsu and Gray, who had been fighting, and smiled. “These two can take care of it.” The boys groaned but didn’t argue.

Lily came in by Gajeel; he looked down. “Books.” He said bluntly.

Levy giggled. “Yep, well let me get the last few.”

“Oh wait, Gajeel can go help you.” Mira smiled.

Gajeel quickly turned to the girl. “Are you tryna get me killed?”

Mirajane giggled. “It’ll be fine. Erza’s on a mission and I’ll turn the other cheek.” She winked.

Gajeel grumbled. “I swear if I die…”

Levy waved both her hands quickly. “It’s not necessary. I only have a few that I couldn’t take the last time.”

Gajeel looked at Mira and saw that she was expecting him to retort. He groaned and began walked. “Don’t worry about it, you look tired anyway.” Levy and Lily followed him outside at towards Fairy Hills.

They entered and Levy led the way to her room. “So Levy-chan, why were you giving so many books to the guild?” Lily asked.

Levy fumbled with the lock to her door. Gajeel’s bout to see my room. Oh god. “Just needed some space.” She answered as she opened the door and entered.

“Damn bookworm! What the hell is this? A library?” Gajeel said looking at the sheer vastness of all the books in her room. There was a bookshelf on almost every wall. Gajeel chuckled when saw a stool. Probably to help her reach the top shelf.

“Goodness Levy, are you sure you made some space?” Lily asked.

“I guess so. What were you doing? Suffocating in a storm of books?” Gajeel added.

Levy shrugged. “Pretty much.” She bent over and grabbed a small stack of books.

Lily turned to Gajeel. “Gajeel…are you okay?” He looked at Levy then Gajeel; he seemed dazed at the scene. “Pathetic.”

Levy stood. “See not that many. I can take it back.”

Lily took it from her. “I’ll take it. You must be tired from moving the books all day. Gajeel can keep you company.”

Gajeel straightened up from his daze and glared at the Exceed. “What are you up to?” he muttered.

“Think Gajeel. When would be the next time Mira would let you in here? Take your chance.” Lily muttered. He smiled. “See ya Levy.” He made his quick escape.   

Levy let out a heavy, deep breath as she lounged in a chair. She pointed at another one. Gajeel sat. “You look tired shrimp. If you needed any help, you could have just asked.”

Levy shrugged. “I thought you were busy. Plus, I would have had to endure your nicknames all day.” She smiled. Gajeel was quiet for a while before he suddenly laughed. “What’s so funny?” Levy giggled at his sudden outburst.

“I can’t believe how many books you have. Gihi, you’re such a bookworm.” Gajeel chuckled.

Levy blushed. “See what I mean!”
